Applications
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants such as oil, grease, or dirt. For best results, repair any surface defects and ensure that the substrate is structurally sound.
- Priming: Apply a suitable primer if required by the substrate condition and porosity.
- Application: AlphaGuard is ready to use and can be applied with a brush, roller, trowel, or airless spray. For optimal results, apply in two coats.
- First Coat: Apply the first coat evenly, at a rate of 1.0 to 1.5 kg/m². Allow it to dry for 4-6 hours before applying the second coat.
- Second Coat: Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first at the same rate to ensure complete coverage.
- Reinforcement: For areas requiring extra strength, such as cracks and joints, embed a reinforcing mesh into the first coat for enhanced performance.
